In their fourth game of the weekend, the Ice Cat's Peewees faced off against VOSHA at the Arcadia rink Sunday afternoon. The score went back and forth to a final 3-3 tie. The Ice Cats got goals from Adrian Nicholas , Anthony Boyd, and Aaron Bryan (assisted by Scotty Cunningham). The Peewees will head into Flagstaff in 2 weeks for a 2 game series with the Flagstaff Northstar's Red Peewee team.

Ice Cat Peewees run into a tough IE Runners team

The Ice Cats Peewees started their 3rd game of the weekend against the Inside Edge Runners and the game was 0-0 through the first period. One minute into the 2nd period, the Runners scored and the game remained 1-0 until 4:30 was left in the game. At that point, the Ice Cats got a power play and Kyle Molony got a rebound in with assists from Zack Smith and Seth Post. The Cats had to kill 6 penalties as they battled to a 1-1 tie. The Peewees face VOSHA at 2:50 to round out the weekend.

The Ice Cats Peewees got their 2nd win of the day by beating Mission AZ 6-0. Great playing all around and the defense helped offensively with goals from Mikey Yochum and Scotty Cunningham. The kids have 2 more games Sunday against IE Runners and VOSHA. The team is joining up with the Bantams this evening for the big Halloween party.

The Las Vegas Ice Cats Peewees are in Phoenix over Halloween weekend for their first 4 game Sonoran League series. The team will face the Inside Edge Runners, Mission AZ, and VOSHA (twice) over the course of the weekend. The games begin early Saturday morning with a 6:20 am face off against VOSHA. The team will join their organization's Bantams, also in town for their 4 game Sonoran League start off, for a Halloween party Saturday eve.

The Las Vegas Ice Cats Peewee travel team is off to sunny San Diego this weekend for a 4 game series with peewee teams from the SDIA organization. The team will face off Saturday at 3:00 and 8:00. Sunday's games are at 6:00am and 10:30am.

The team will follow up this weekend with a trip to the mountains next weekend in Flagstaff. The Ice Cats will have a 4 game series with the Northstars peewee teams.
